Ohm’s law

V = I × R • I = V ÷ R • R = V ÷ I.

Power

DC / single-phase resistive: P = V × I. Three-phase real power: P = √3 × V × I × PF.

Voltage drop

Voltage drop depends on conductor resistance, length and current. Use the governing code and project criteria for allowable drop.
